A small yet diverse and vibrant city, Sonoma attracts visitors with its warm Californian climate, friendly locals and excellent cultural offering. The historical buildings, cafes and shops as well as the weekly farmer's market that line the main square are excellent for wandering around on a sunny afternoon, and afterwards sample the local wine in one of the excellent restaurants or bars.

A city located on the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley, its namesake city may be recognised by many for its famous wine. Known as one of the best wine regions in the world, Napa is home to vast chateau-like vineyards which can only be compared with those in France, and the city itself also offers good shops and restaurants along its riverfront promenade. Visit old wine cellars to sample some of the local drink, and afterwards relax and enjoy some of the wellness offerings in the surrounding Valley.
