Thanks to over a thousand years of travellers and migrants passing through its famous port Marseille, the sun-drenched city of “a hundred neighbourhoods”, is a kaleidoscope of multi-culturalism and beach town vibes. Aside from its own attractions the city is an excellent base from which to explore the rest of Provence. On route to Nice take in the chic glamour of Saint-Tropez and Cannes and the pretty resort town of Saint- Raphaël. Outside of the towns stop to breath in the fresh coastal air and stunning peacock blue waters of numerous coves and bays. Once in Nice - perhaps the most famous city on the French Riviera – stroll along the famous 7km Promenade des Anglais and soak up the Mediterranean ambience.
