Austria’s capital is pure elegance; Imperial Palaces sit alongside sprawling museums, grand coffee houses and concert halls, all built in a delightful mixture of Baroque, medieval and contemporary architectural styles. The city has a long history of artistic and musical importance which it still carries today, and visitors can spend days getting lost in the UNESCO listed Altstadt, enjoying the music from world-renowned classical artists and sampling delicious cakes and Viennese culinary specialities.

BERLIN

Day 8 - 11

Berlin has gone through an impressive transformation in the 30+ years since the Wall came down. Each of the fascinating neighbourhoods has its own rich culture, while reminders of its harrowing past are omnipresent, whether you walk along remnants of the Wall, visit Checkpoint Charlie or the Holocaust memorial. Berlin has something for everyone, its offer ranging from fabulous parks, cafés, beer gardens to shopping centers and boutique shops offering designs of locals, to fancy restaurants and street-food as well as a colourful nightlife.

ZURICH

Day 11 - 12

Although known worldwide as a centre for banking and finance, Switzerland’s largest city has a lot more to offer; its picturesque setting between a lake and a river with the glorious peaks of the Alps in the distance is instantly mesmerising, and the winding cobbled lanes of the old town are filled with intact medieval churches, squares and quaint cafes. Yet despite its rich history, Zürich has a contemporary, vibrant and post-industrial feel and has become a European hub for art, culture and innovation.
