The capital of Southern Australia, Adelaide is filled with colonial-era architecture and churches, and mixes the old with new buildings, excellent restaurants and nightlife and interesting galleries and museums. Make sure to visit the Central Market and take a wander through the art gallery before enjoying some live music in one of its hip bars.
