SãO PAULO

Day 1 - 2

The largest city of both Brazil and Latin America, São Paulo is a bustling and multicultural metropolis that should not be missed on any trip to the country. Although often overshadowed by Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo is a worthwhile destination in its own right, offering countless cultural attractions, vibrant nightlife and a thriving culinary scene. The city is home to some of Brazil’s most important museums, galleries and cultural centres, as well as some interesting architectural highlights and world-class eateries.

FOZ DO IGUAçU

Day 2 - 4

Foz do Iguaçu is a major city in the state of Paraná, Brazil. It is a gateway to both Paraguay and Argentina, and home of the famous Iguaçu Falls. Together with the cities of Ciudad del Este (Paraguay) and Puerto Iguazu (Argentina), it forms part of one the largest cultural tourism poles in South America.

FORTALEZA

Day 4 - 7

Fortaleza is a major city on Brazil's northeast coast, and the capital of Ceará state. It is one of the largest cities in Brazil and certainly one of the most vibrant. The city is perhaps the most popular domestic package tour destination, and Europeans are following suit. Despite being quite a party town, the carnival in Fortaleza is rather feeble, though growing bigger by the year, with the largest parades being maracatu-style. There are 2.55 million inhabitants in the city, and 3.5 million in the metropolitan area.

MANAUS

Day 7 - 10

As the capital and largest city of Amazonas and the gateway to the natural wonders of the Amazon Rainforest, Manaus is one of Brazil’s most visited destinations. Although the city is usually a stopover for visitors heading into the jungle, it does offer a couple of its own attractions such as museums and monuments where you can get an insight into the local history and culture. Manaus has everything you need to prepare for your rainforest adventure, including a variety of shops, restaurants and accommodation options.

TABATINGA

Day 10 - 12

Tabatinga is a frontier city in the north-western part of the state of Amazonas in Brazil. It forms a contiguous settlement with the Colombian town of Leticia, on the Amazon River. Santa Rosa on the nearby island in the river is in Peru.
