Lucerne has certainly earned its place as one of Switzerland’s most beautiful cities; with a setting on the clear-blue Lake Lucerne and a backdrop of snow-capped mountains, a quaint medieval old town and the wooden Chapel Bridge which crosses over from the colourful waterfront promenade - this city has it all.
