Picturesque Colmar is straight from a fairytale, its rows of half-timbered houses, pretty canals and cobbled lanes making it one of France’s finest medieval towns. Set at the heart of Alsace, the town is also the region’s wine capital and is a popular stop along the Alsace Wine Route. The Europa-Park is Germany's largest and Europe's second most popular (right after Disneyland Paris) theme park. It is based around fifteen themed areas made to look like different European countries both in terms of architecture and the food that is offered. Besides its 13 rollercoasters it offers various other attractions and over 100 shows for any age group. You can choose to explore the park during a daytrip, or even stay in one of the park's own hotels or campsite, if you want more than one day to experience it all.
