ROME

Day 1 - 4

From the ancient walls of the Colosseum and the magic of the Trevi Fountain to the gilded churches of the Vatican City and the views from its seven hills, Rome is truly a dream. Day 4 - 5

Pompeii is in Campania, Italy, not far from Naples. Its major attraction is the ruined ancient Roman city of the same name, which was engulfed by Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

SORRENTO

Day 5 - 8

The idyllic resort of Sorrento is one of Italy's finest, dazzling with its pastel-hued cliffside houses that overlook the sparkling Gulf of Naples. The centre is filled with history, its evocative lanes and elegant squares lined with bustling cafes, authentic restaurants and shops selling local limoncello and ceramics. Down below, a lovely beach and a picturesque boat-lined marina await, and both the charming towns and spectacular scenery of the Amalfi Coast and the ancient city of Pompeii are just a short journey away.

PALERMO

Day 8 - 10

You're bound to fall in love with the narrow streets of Palermo's Old Town, where piazzas, fountains and churches spring up amidst crumbling houses and washing lines. The city's long heritage is apparent in the mixture of architectural styles, and you'll find the bustling Byzantine street market of Ballarò alongside the Arabesque domes of San Giovanni degli Eremiti and a Cathedral decorated in Baroque, Moorish and Gothic styles. The excellent bars and restaurants, countless museums and scenic setting only add to Palermo's appeal.

PISA

Day 10 - 12

The main draw of Pisa is undoubtedly its world-famous Leaning Tower, yet there are a number of other interesting architectural, historic and cultural sights to see in this Tuscan city. Stray from the busy Piazza del Duomo and you'll discover charming cafes and vibrant bars frequented by locals and students, and stroll through the pedestrianised streets and stop at elegant boutiques, medieval arcades and pretty patio restaurants. Visit Renaissance mansions, Gothic churches and the remains of medieval walls and soak up the charm of Pisa.

CINQUE TERRE

RIMINI

Day 14 - 16

Rimini is popular summer holiday destination for locals, and retains its authentic Italian charm despite its busy atmosphere. The city is worth visiting for its history as much as it is for its beaches, with a pretty historic centre filled with sights like the Roman Arch of Augustus, the Malatestiano Temple and a number of bustling piazzas. Rimini also boasts excellent street food, numerous hotels and a lively nightlife scene, and whether you simply want to relax on the long stretch of white sand or explore, there's something here for everyone.

VENICE

Day 16 - 19

Venice is an icon across the world due to its picturesque canals, black gondolas and unique Venetian Gothic architecture, and the city certainly lives up to its image with a romantic charm that dazzles everyone who visits. Day 19 - 21

Day 21 - 23

Nestled at the southern edge of its namesake lake, Como is an elegant and charming town with a rich history. MILAN

Day 23 - 26

Milan is perhaps Italy's most sophisticated and modern city, a thriving hub for business, art and fashion. The city's defining feature is the Duomo, one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world, and if that wasn't enough the refectory of the Santa Maria delle Grazie church is home to one of Leonardo Da Vinci's most famous paintings, 'The Last Supper'. Shop in the designer boutiques of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II arcades or marvel at the opulence of the La Scala opera house, Milan's history, style and culture won't disappoint.
