Any new trip planning tool looking to disrupt the online travel market must be equipped with innovate features and functionality that make planning and booking complex trips fun and as painless as possible. How do I start my travel planning, searching and booking
On the home page you start with creating your own travel itinerary by entering
starting departure, date, adults and children participating.
You then plan your entire trip on the following planning page.
Alternatively, you can scroll down and choose a pre-planned travel itinerary to your liking.
This pre planned travel selection will bring you to the next page, the planning.
Now you have the opportunity to change destinations by deleting,
adding or moving the order of destinations on your itinerary.
You can share your screen with anyone you wish to participate to create and have a great experience to plan, search and book a complete travel journey. Please share your screen via Teams, Zoom or Google Meet.
My credit card has a low limit, can I share payment with family members or friends, or can I use multiple credit/debit cards for partial payment?
When checking out and, you will be directed to an offsite payment gateway and provider with full PCI DSS payment gateway security certification. You can use multiple credit cards to pay partial payments for the whole travel costs. However, your booking only becomes valid, if you do this split and shared payment in one transaction. You need to have all credit cards available at the time of payment. See also share your screen.
Why should I sign/log in and create an account?
You need an account to automatically save your trip. You can then access your trips from other computers and mobile devices. When you’re signed in, you can also collaborate on your trips with others. If you are signing in as the leading booking person, you need to enter data for all travellers in your party especially for flight bookings, but other travellers in the party do not need to create an account.
Can I delete an account?
You have an account to automatically save your trip. You cannot delete your account as long as there is a pending travel scheduled and booked. To cancel your account, please send us an e-mail to backoffice at travelplanbooker.com
How do I change the planned order of the destinations in my travel itinerary?
On the planning page you put your cursor on the itinerary destination on the righthand side. You can move each destination to change your route order. Move cursor to the destination and move it in order up or down.
At the same time you can adjust the days spent in each destination.
How can I delete any of the destinations in my travel itinerary?
Move your cursor to the destination and click on “X” delete button
How do I add destinations in my travel itinerary?
Move your cursor to any empty destination field at any place in the itinerary and add the destination.
You can move now the destination to change your route order. Move your cursor to the destination you wish to add and then move it up or down in your route itinerary.
My flight date of departure and date of arrival are different.
The flight search engine takes into consideration flight duration and time zone changes and therefore will display if the flight is due to land on a different date to the departure date. If needed, you can adjust the departure date of your flight. Once you are happy with your chosen flight dates and times, you can select and book those options.
I cannot book a transfer, how can I get information about public transportation?
In most places there is a transfer available between airports and hotel. To ‘Most places offer a transport service between the airport and your hotel and you can arrange this once you have selected your destination and accommodation. Other options include public transport, which can be arranged at the airport information desk.
Can I change or cancel a booked and paid travel journey or part of it
Your trip is booked with individual service providers that have different terms and conditions. We would recommend consulting directly with the provider in the instance that you need to cancel part or all of your booking.
