SAN FRANCISCO

Day 1 - 2

With its dizzying steep streets lined with colourful homes, endless historical and cultural gems and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else - San Francisco is a vibrant and scenic city. Visit the iconic stops such as Alcatraz, the Golden Gate Bridge and Coit Tower, and explore the city’s unique culture, its ethnically diverse neighbourhoods and growing tech scene. A city constantly evolving, San Francisco is truly inspiring.

SONOMA

Day 2 - 3

From the sprawling sun-filled valleys of California’s wine country to the historical Plaza, the largest square in the state, Sonoma has it all. A small yet diverse and vibrant city, Sonoma attracts visitors with its warm Californian climate, friendly locals and excellent cultural offering. The historical buildings, cafes and shops as well as the weekly farmer's market that line the main square are excellent for wandering around on a sunny afternoon, and afterwards sample the local wine in one of the excellent restaurants or bars.

NAPA

Day 3 - 4

A city located on the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley, its namesake city may be recognised by many for its famous wine. Known as one of the best wine regions in the world, Napa is home to vast chateau-like vineyards which can only be compared with those in France, and the city itself also offers good shops and restaurants along its riverfront promenade. Visit old wine cellars to sample some of the local drink, and afterwards relax and enjoy some of the wellness offerings in the surrounding Valley.

EL PORTAL

Day 4 - 6

Located around three kilometres from the entrance to Yosemite National Park, El Portal is a perfect base for visits to this stunning natural wonder. The town offers a handful of accommodation options from hotels to motels and campsites, as well as some bars, restaurants and a shop to stock up on supplies. Its location by the Merced River also makes the town a good spot for fishing, kayaking and rafting.

SANTA CRUZ (CALIFORNIA)

Day 6 - 8

Set on California’s Central Coast, Santa Cruz is a charming spot that is renowned for its laid-back lifestyle, bohemian feel and progressive ideology. Visitors will fall in love with the city's vast sandy beach and action-packed boardwalk amusement park, and in the bustling downtown you'll find an array of trendy cafes, vintage clothing stores, lively bars and local galleries. The large student population gives Santa Cruz a vibrant atmosphere, and for outdoors enthusiasts there are plenty of scenic trails through unspoiled nature nearby.
