KAILUA-KONA

Day 6 - 10

The former fishing village of ‘Kona’, as referred to by locals, was once a retreat for Hawaiian royalty, and it’s not hard to see why they were drawn to its shores. Today the town is a lively and popular destination for tourists due to its year-round sunny climate and stunning location at the bottom of the Hualalai Volcano. Kona also boasts many activities such as fishing and snorkelling, and is a hotspot for coffee lovers due to the cultivation of the beans on the edges of the slopes of Mount Hualalai.
